Penny has been moved to Mercy Hospital on Truxton, room 214. The transfer went well.
We found out yesterday that the front tumor that had been surgically removed is growing back aggressively. The tumor at the back of her brain has also grown, and is bigger than the one in the front.
Mercy Hospital is the best place for Penny to be, because a) they have a neurologist on staff, and b) radiation treatment is available. After considering the options, Penny and Terry would still like to continue radiation treatment, and this will allow them to do so without the added strain of traveling down from Tehachapi every day.
Thank you for your visits and your support. They're appreciated so much. Penny and Terry love seeing you.
Please tell Penny our thoughts and prayers are with her and the family. I look forward to visiting with her when I get back in 2 weeks. We are going on vacation. Also, please give her a big hug from me. You guys are awesome in posting these updates and I'm sure you are tired and worried. The Lord will take care of Penny. He loves her more than we know.
